For ease of management billing, payment, and bookkeeping is kept simple so that more focus can be put on maximizing return on investment. Payment terms are handled on a case-by-case basis but usually include some up-front payment. Since payment is usually made up front contracts and retainers are typically not necessary. In the case they are used all contracts are negotiated in good faith with the intention to protect all parties involved.
In person consultations are available but are subject to a negotiated rate and any accompanying travel expenses. Expenses are typically are known upfront and notified in advance. SEO by Chris is a strong supporter of open source software and information, which usually has a no finical investment to the end user. Being a supporter of opens source makes for lowered cost and expenses. In the event that a particular application is requested or recommend an un-expected cost may be incurred on the invoice.
