Twitter’s Demise
On my personal blog I made announcement that I am once again moving. This time it want be as a big of an adjustment so there shouldn’t be a long gap between post.
I read an article the other day about a “Student Twittering his way out of jail“. I have been hearing all the rave reviews about Twitter. I have had an account for a few months but never used it. Since I am going to be moving and I have a Twitter iPhone application setup now I will try it during the move. Check out my updates and follow me along my journey back to Alabama. Back in the Saddle Again
After a long break from blogging I am back in the saddle again. I moved to New York City a little over a month ago and I am long over due on posting. So over the next few days look for me to publish some new info.
Some friendly reminders:
Don’t forget to up-date your blog software to the new version. - The lastest version comes with some pretty nice additions and cleans up the administration area. Make sure you check it out as it also comes with some DB upgrades.
Windows Vista is still a waste of time. My new job requires me to use it. It does have some promising features but overall it is more problem than good.

SEO Employment
Since the middle of January I have been in search of fresh employment. I choose to focus my attention onto my passions and experience in IT and SEO. After making a few trips around the US interviewing and sharing my skills I have found a fit in New York City.

Though I am not yet releasing the name of my company… I can share that they have a long list of powerful clients and they have recently launched a new marketing initiative that will incorporate me!

Typically I keep these things separate from my personal blog. A couple days ago I made the career and location change public with a mass e-mail and post on my personal blog.

SEO by Chris update
It has been a while since I have posted. Over the past few weeks there have been some interesting developments in Search Engine Optimization. One of the most interesting developments has been the discussions of Yahoo! and Microsoft’s Live.com merging together. There is a lot of speculation about what the consequences would be. The truth be known until it happens little will be known about how the merger will unfold.
Over the past few weeks increased additional security has been added. An Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to secure and encrypt data via the internet has been installed.
I have also done a lot of server work. Including .htaccess like the previous article. I have also been doing some design work for Bagley School. What started out as fixing broken image tags turned into a design and upgrade. You can see the work in progress here. Suggestions are welcome. I have taken this on for free using open source and currently available resources.
If you have been following this blog you know that I do this for entertainment and hold down a regular day job… Well, over the past few weeks I have been undergoing career changes. I am currently between jobs and actively seeking full-time employment. Being between jobs theoretically leaves more time for blogging. I have found that assumption to be the opposite. In other news you will notice some changes to Search Engine Optmization by Chris. In the month of January a new brighter more colorful design has been added. Also, Yahoo Publisher Network ads sponsored ads have been added. A different placement of ad’s has been put in to offer you a a much better range of services. As a supporter of Search Engine College I recomnd taking a look into one of their classes. All thought a class will help you get up to speed on SEO basices but n0thing is going to be as sufficient as an experienced professional. As always I have some affiliate marketers online that would like to put ads on the blog.
